The GEL-Kayano 12.1's are made from a breathable mesh upper with structural metallic overlays that take inspiration from European gothic armour. The midsole is borrowed from the GEL-NIMBUS™ 17, with rear and forefoot GEL™ cushioned technology—if it ain't broke don't fix it.
